Black lace and denim

In this outfit I am wearing...

Black lace dress - Matalan
Brown leather belt - Cow (vintage)
Denim jacket - second hand
My Neighbour Totoro necklace - My Etsy Shop
Plum desert boots - Wild Clothing

Me and my boyfriend recently made some My Neighbour Totoro necklaces for our Etsy shop. I love them and they go with everything! They're £5 each and we only have 5 (at the moment). If these go well, we might carry on this Studio Ghibli theme.

I've put this look on Lookbook too if anyone wants to hype it!!

Rainy Sunday ootd

I realise the photos are quite bad quality, they were taken on my phone.

In these photos I am wearing...

White Fred Perry - here
H&M floral skirt - similar here
Chestnut leather Zatchel satchel - here
Gold and purple Casio - here
Silver Pandora - here

Today I drove to Asda, went to see my boyfriend, watched TV and played Animal Crossing. Sounds boring but I love lazy Sundays.

Did everyone else have a nice Sunday?

Cat tights and velvet

It's my first outfit post in ages! I've sort of already done this outfit before on my Merry Christmas post but this time I'm wearing my creepers, leather jacket and cat tights.

I wanted to show off my new cat tights on my blog because I've wanted some forever so I thought why not turn it into an outfit post. My boyfriend bought me these tights and I want to wear them with everything. I thought they'd be really thin and rip easily but they are surprisingly thick. I'm not sure where they are from but I know you can find them on Amazon if you search 'cat tights'.

I've posted my leather jacket before but here it is again. I wish I could wear it every day but I tried that a few weeks ago and it was too cold so I had to put it away. Every time the sun is out I try and wear it then realise half way through the day that it is Winter. I got it in the Topshop sale on Boxing Day for £26.

I haven't worn my creepers in ages but I thought they went quite well with my cat tights. I stopped wearing them because I've started having driving lessons and driving in creepers is really difficult. But I might start wearing them again because they can look quite cute. I got them about 2 years ago from Underground and I think they were around £81.

I really should wear my bowler hat more because since I bought it in December I've only worn it three times. I'm not very confident with hats. It was £13 from Ark.

I also need to wear this green velvet dress more and I should wear it with jumpers to dress it down. I think I've worn it about four times but I really love it, mostly because it's furry and warm. I can't remember how much it was but it is by Hearts and Bows at Ark

I got this Marc Jacobs watch from my dad for my birthday.

I will put this on Lookbook when I have time but right now I need to get ready for work.

Denim and Monochrome

Hello!
Sorry about my squinty eyes, I decided to do an outfit post in the rain, probably not the best idea ever.

I am wearing
Denim Shirt - second hand (Grandmas)
Vintage Skirt - Cow Vintage
Purple Dr Martens - Dr Martens
Gold Necklace - Christmas present

I took these photos nearly a week ago but I've been really busy with coursework and work (Sorry!). I have a couple more posts in mind so I'll try and do one tomorrow and one at the end of October.

I've posted this outfit to Lookbook too so have a look!
I forgot to post my last outfit post on Lookbook and I have to wait 6 hours before I post another one, so I'll do that later.

Too much Tartan

Hello! I took these photos yesterday using my tripod so they're not as good as the photos my boyfriend takes. It's got a lot colder recently so I've had to layer up with a hoodie, jacket and scarf - I really should just buy a coat.

In these photos I'm wearing...

American Apparel Tartan skirt here
American Apparel grey hoodie similar here
H&M jacket (I can't find the same jacket because I bought it years ago but other H&M coats and jackets here)
Cow vintage tartan scarf (can't find similar but look around vintage/charity shops and you'll probably find something!)
this black top is from Topshop but I got it ages ago
Dr Martens here

So this is my first real winter outfit! I don't really have that many winter clothes but I wear the same clothes in winter as I do in summer. But I might go shopping soon, then I can do a little winter-y haul and loads of outfit posts, yay!

ps. I've had silver shampoo on my hair for over an hour so my hair will probably be purple when I wash it off (ah)

Floral and denim

(Ignore the hundreds of bug bites on my legs)

Top - It was a denim shirt but I'd had it for years and got a bit bored of it so thought I'd cut the sleeves off to make it into a new top! Originally it was from H&M. I also tied up the bottom bit to make it into a kind of crop top.

Skirt - I bought this from Ark last Friday - as mentioned in my recent haul post.

Feet - Creepers and frilly Topshop socks (as usual)

I love the pattern and colours of this skirt. I think it goes well with denim but I'm not sure what else I could wear it with.. I normally wear darker clothes so this outfit really lightened things up! If you've seen my other outfit posts you'll probably notice that my wardrobe is a mix between dark, grungy clothes and pretty, floral things like this skirt. I might start wearing lighter things like this outfit but I'll probably change my mind about that tomorrow.

Levi's 501 & Big Green cardigan

I'm a bit obsessed with vintage Levi's shorts, I've had this pair for years and they were all ripped so yesterday I sewed them up, then did a Lookbook post with them! They've ripped again though I think it's because they're vintage and old. I'm thinking of patchworking them with pretty fabric (maybe).

Levi's 501 and leather belt (vintage) both from Cow vintage in Nottingham. I love the colour of the denim, I might have to buy some more if this patchworking idea goes wrong.

I got this necklace in Turkey last Summer, someone asked me if it was supposed to be the Kingdom Hearts logo and I didn't even realise it looked like it, but I like Kingdom Hearts so I'm going to pretend it is the Kingdom Hearts logo.

Day 5 of me not wearing foundation. I look really pale but I think it's because of the camera flash (I am quite pale anyway though). But other than looking pale, I love not wearing foundation, it makes my skins feel so much better!

Underground creepers. I live in these, they're so comfortable and make me a little bit taller too which is nice. I also live in frilly Topshop socks because they just look really cute.

This is the pattern on my big green cardigan. It's so big and thick so keeps me nice and warm in this horrible English weather. It's also from Cow vintage.

This top is from Peacocks, I love the detail on the back so had to post a picture of it

I've given up with trying to make Lookbook's html codes work so here's the link to my outfit - click

I seem to have entered the Levi's contest even though I know I'm not going to win, but I'm wearing Levi's and it's always fun taking part in things.

I'm currently listening to Lana del Rey - Born to die Paradise edition and it's making me feel all Summer-y. I miss wearing Summer clothes so much!

Snow in Spring?

Hello! First outfit post on my new blog oooh exciting. It was freezing today even though I was wearing my itchy thick jumper, that's one of the negatives of vintage jumpers, they tend to be really itchy and a little bit uncomfortable but they look lovely so you just have to put up with the itchy-ness.

In this outfit I am wearing my jumper from Cow vintage, my jeans from Peacocks, my beanie hat from New Look, my hoody from American Apparel, Dr Martens from Dr Martens shop in Nottingham and pikachu necklace from Little Tea Cup. You can hype my outfit here on lookbook, I tried to put the hype button into this post but I get really impatient with things not working on blogger so I decided to just put a link in. Also follow my lookbook here if you like!

For my photography coursework I'm doing a project about abandoned houses so me and my boyfriend went to take some photos today (otherwise I probably would have stayed in bed avoiding the cold). It's a really interesting project to do just maybe a little bit dangerous. I'll put a link to my Flickr when I get more photos on it (it only has two at the moment).
