Black lace and denim

In this outfit I am wearing...

Black lace dress - Matalan
Brown leather belt - Cow (vintage)
Denim jacket - second hand
My Neighbour Totoro necklace - My Etsy Shop
Plum desert boots - Wild Clothing

Me and my boyfriend recently made some My Neighbour Totoro necklaces for our Etsy shop. I love them and they go with everything! They're £5 each and we only have 5 (at the moment). If these go well, we might carry on this Studio Ghibli theme.

I've put this look on Lookbook too if anyone wants to hype it!!

Denim and Monochrome

Hello!
Sorry about my squinty eyes, I decided to do an outfit post in the rain, probably not the best idea ever.

I am wearing
Denim Shirt - second hand (Grandmas)
Vintage Skirt - Cow Vintage
Purple Dr Martens - Dr Martens
Gold Necklace - Christmas present

I took these photos nearly a week ago but I've been really busy with coursework and work (Sorry!). I have a couple more posts in mind so I'll try and do one tomorrow and one at the end of October.

I've posted this outfit to Lookbook too so have a look!
I forgot to post my last outfit post on Lookbook and I have to wait 6 hours before I post another one, so I'll do that later.

Summer wishlist

I want so many clothes but I feel like I should be saving money and most of the clothes that I want are summer-y so I doesn't seem right buying Summer clothes when the weather's like this.

This lace crop top is from Topshop. It would look great under a pinafore dress or with a high waisted skirt. It's only £15 so this will probably end up being in my wardrobe quite soon.

These shoes are also from Topshop. They're £30 which I think it quite reasonable. I've tried to buy them three times already but they seem to never have my size (wah). I might order them online, does anyone know what Topshop's delivery is any good?

I love these sunglasses because of the glitter, everything's better with glitter. They are from Urban Outfitters and they're £16. Sunglasses never seem to suit me though, something to do with my eyebrows. I think if I find some that are the right style they'll look okay.

I found Levi's shorts that aren't too short! Yay! And they have UK sizes on them so you don't have to dig through them in the shop trying on every pair. I should just do vintage shopping online, it would be so much quicker. They're from Cow vintage.

The colours in this dress are lovely. It's £35 from Miss Selfrigde

This list could be endless because every website I go on I see something nice that I convince myself that I need. A lot of this stuff is white, that's because it's a popular colour this season, it's so delicate and    summer-y!

Monochrome and gold

Hello! Long time no see... I wanted to concentrate on exams for past two weeks so that's why I haven't been blogging. I've still got one exam left, which is tomorrow, but I thought I could take a few minutes out of revision to do an outfit post. Also, I took these photos on Monday and they were just sitting there waiting to be posted!

I don't really have that many photos this time but sometimes you don't need many. I bought this skirt last Saturday from Cow vintage in Nottingham, and it was £17 (is that a lot because I'm not sure if that's reasonable?). They have loads of pretty patterned skirts all a similar style to this. I tried on 5 and this was the only one that fitted because the others were too big (sigh). It would make life easier if they had sizes on them. But anyway, I love this skirt. I love the monochrome pattern because it's not too 'in your face black and white strips' and I'm not really a big fan of things that are massively monochrome.

I'm also wearing my creepers but I'm not going to ramble about them because I do that in every outfit post, I think I need some more shoes...

These sparkly socks are also quite new. You can't really tell that they're sparkly from the picture but they have little bits of silver shiny bits in them, they're from Topshop and  I got them with the 3 pairs for £8 offer. I'm kind of annoyed though because I've worn them about 3 times and they've already got a massive hole in them, but don't let that put you off because Topshop socks in general are quite good quality.

I found this gold necklace the other day in my room, it's one of those things you get as a gift for Christmas and you don't particularly like it at the time but a few years later you realise it's quite nice.

My top is just from Peacocks so I don't really need to elaborate on that...

I've posted this look on lookbook so click here and hype please (if you want to, I'm not pressuring you)

These are my boyfriends photos so look at his flickr click click click

I better get back to revising English Language then.

Mint and thigh high socks

So I was lying in bed on twitter and thought maybe I should do something productive like posting the look I've been meaning to do since last Wednesday, so here I am!

In these photos I am wearing a mint tank top from Topshop - I've really missed wearing it because you can only really wear it when the weather's nice, I love the pastel colour too. I bought it last year so they don't have it anymore, I tried to find it or something similar on the Topshop website but I couldn't find anything, they still have lots of other nice things though!

I am also wearing Levi's 505 cut offs from Cow vintage in Birmingham. I really need to get some new ones because I didn't try these on and they're massssssive, but they're okay with a belt.

It looks like I live in my black coverse by the look of my recent posts but it's only because I was riding my bike and you can't bike in creepers!

I love this hoodie, it's my boyfriends and should probably give it back but it's so nice! This is similar or it might be the same one.

I love it when the weather is warm enough to wear socks instead of tights, these are also from Topshop but you can buy plain thigh high socks from pretty much anywhere.

So that's what I wore last Wednesday! I need to go and get ready for college now. I'm hoping that it's warm outside but I'll probably layer up so I don't get cold.

Vintage checkered shirt and abandoned buildings

These photos were taken on Sunday when I went to an abandoned building to do some photography coursework but due to revision and other things I've only just got round to posting them. I'll probably just stick to posting two posts a week (mostly at weekends) anyway because then it'll be consistent (unless I miss a week out)

I am wearing...

Vintage checkered shirt from Cow Vintage
Jeans from Peacocks
Converse from a friend
Jacket from H+M
Hoody from American Apparel
Rucksack from American Apparel

I love checkered shirts because you can wear them in so many different ways, open or buttoned up or tied up or under pinafore dresses or over hoodies... the list is endless! I also love how comfy they are, if you buy a vintage one they're sometimes a bit itchy but not all of them are. I feel like I live in this one so I think I need to buy some more.

I've also posted some of the photos that I took at the abandoned building for my coursework, to see more go on my flickr here. I've decided to start using it since I've nearly finished my coursework.

I've posted this look onto Lookbook too if you want to hype it!
