Summer wishlist

I want so many clothes but I feel like I should be saving money and most of the clothes that I want are summer-y so I doesn't seem right buying Summer clothes when the weather's like this.

This lace crop top is from Topshop. It would look great under a pinafore dress or with a high waisted skirt. It's only £15 so this will probably end up being in my wardrobe quite soon.

These shoes are also from Topshop. They're £30 which I think it quite reasonable. I've tried to buy them three times already but they seem to never have my size (wah). I might order them online, does anyone know what Topshop's delivery is any good?

I love these sunglasses because of the glitter, everything's better with glitter. They are from Urban Outfitters and they're £16. Sunglasses never seem to suit me though, something to do with my eyebrows. I think if I find some that are the right style they'll look okay.

I found Levi's shorts that aren't too short! Yay! And they have UK sizes on them so you don't have to dig through them in the shop trying on every pair. I should just do vintage shopping online, it would be so much quicker. They're from Cow vintage.

The colours in this dress are lovely. It's £35 from Miss Selfrigde

This list could be endless because every website I go on I see something nice that I convince myself that I need. A lot of this stuff is white, that's because it's a popular colour this season, it's so delicate and    summer-y!

Denim pinafore

My cat Lotti

Hello! I've been meaning to post this since Thursday but better late than never! I've wanted a pinafore dress for ages, so on Wednesday I went into Topshop, searched everywhere for a black one but found this denim one instead which looked nice. I tried it on and I don't know what it was but it didn't really look right. So I went to Miss Selfridge and bought this one! It was £40 but with student discount it came to £36 (yay). I've worn it for the last three days because it's so versatile, yesterday I wore it with a vintage shirt and the day before with another jumper, it's definitely my favourite piece of clothing at the moment. I've just noticed from the photo on the website that you're supposed to cross the straps at the back and I didn't realise... oops...

I'm also wearing a stripy jumper that I got from H&M last year, I like it because it's quite thin but still keeps me warm. My creepers are from Underground (if you haven't looked before you should because they have loads of different styles and heights of creepers and other shoes!) My scrabble necklace is from Dollybowbow, she doesn't sell scrabble necklaces anymore but she does do loads of other kitsch-y style jewelry and stuff for your home too, so you should have a look!

I'm going to do a Lookbook post later so be on the look out for that.

Pinafore dresses

Pinafore dresses are back but with a twist, they now come in denim and corduroy. These beautiful vintage looking dresses are my new obsession. It is the most versatile piece of clothing ever, they could like nice with absolutely anything, jumpers, tshirts, crop tops, trainers, creepers, boots. So they're perfect for unreliable English weather.

Alexa Chung is the Queen of pinafore dresses and has made me want one even more. I love how she can make them look casual and smart.

Topshop

This pretty pinafore is from Topshop and is £42. A little on the pricy side but anything over Primark prices is my idea of pricy. With a white top it could look lovely and fit in perfectly with the monochrome trend.
Miss Selfridge

I walked past Miss Selfridge about a week ago, saw this lovely dress in the window and fell in love with it. The spots are so cute. This dress also fits in with the monochrome trend (monochrome everywhere!). It's been reduced from £37 to £27 which is amazing because of how new and on trend it is.

Topshop have loads of pinafore dresses here
So I want a pinafore dress but unless I get some sort of income I won't be able to (sad times) but I can still look at them on the internet and wish I had one.
